Luft, CEO of ATMO Productions Inc.
Mr. Luft has been active in the
performing arts industry for over 40 years. He was general
manager for Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, in charge of the
dance events in the Arts & Culture Program for the 1976
Olympic Games, director of the Quebec Conservatories of Music
and Drama, and, finally, an agent representing artists and
organizing tours. The latter experience has enabled him to
assist in the market development of numerous arts groups from
Canada and around the world. One of the founding members of
CINARS (International Exchange for the Performing Arts), he
has been its President and has extensive knowledge on the
Asian markets. Alain Pare, CEO of CINARS
(International Exchange for the Performing Arts)
Alain Pare was a founder and is
the chief executive officer of CINARS. For 17 years
(1971-1988), he was a manager and agent of many well-known
Quebec artists. He founded in 1981 Les Productions Contour in
Quebec specializing in show production. Actively involved in
the recording and performance industry, he served as the
president of ADISQ in 1986-87, and sat on their board of
directors for 8 years.
From 1989 to 1994, he
represented the Conseil Francophone de la Chanson(CFC) as vice
president in North America. In 1991, the Paris-based Agence de
Cooperation Culturelle et Technique (ACCT) retained his
services for the organization of 3 editions of the Marche des
Arts du Spectacle Africain (MASA) which were held in Ivory
Coast in 1993, 1995 and 1997.
He was also the
co-founder in 1999 and the president from February 2000 until
June 2001 of Festivals Montreal.
Alain Pare studied
communications and marketing at the Montreal University.
