SINSFO 2007 faces a new turning point. It used to progress mostly with performing arts festival in fall, however, it will expand its area of the Seminar to a four-season festival and provide opportunity of publicity and strategy for the coming festival. It will provide the origin of festival to professionals, great opportunity for festival organizers to exchange their creative ideas.
This year, SINSFO provides tour and workshop programs ahead of the Seminar, so that those can help understand the main theme of the Seminar and importance of networking.
"From Festival to Cultural Governance" is a three-year-plan and the second theme for this festival is "River, Festivity and Future of Asian Creative Cities." Scholars, festival organizers, cultural administrators are expected to show unique and passionate discussion on SINSFO's future dream, that is 'river','water',and 'human' exist together. This will be done through in-depth discussion and architecture, environment, and cultural approaches on the concept of "creative city" which is new and is gaining popularity in Asia.
