About SINSFO
2005
This year, SINSFO runs in
conjunction with the first PAMS (Performing Arts Market in
Seoul) organized by the Ministry of Culture and
Tourism.
The foreign participants are, among others,
some 10 speakers such as Mr. Alain Pare from CINARS, Sir.
Bernard D'Arcier, former artistic director of Avignon Festival
for 17 years until 2004, besides 15 discussion panelists and
special guests including the members of AAPAF and executive
director of Indonesian Arts Market and World Culture Forum in
Jordan. SINSFO 2004
Last year, SINSFO had 6
directors from AAPAF including Singapore Art Festival, Hong
Kong Arts Festival, Tokyo Performing Arts Festival, Shanghai
International Performing Arts Festival and director of
Edinburgh Festival Fringe plus 200 Korean engaging in art
management under the theme of "Festival Management as a City
Marketing Strategy". Exploiting the additional showcase of
SINSFO 2004 co-organized by the Korean Chapter of AAPAF,
Korean performing arts groups had an extensive exposure to
delegates from Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau, Israel, Belgium,
Edinburgh and many other regions.
