▢ 총평
서울서커스페스티벌의 국제적 인지도가 높아짐에 따라 전년 대비 2배 이상 증가 된 수의 해외단체가 지원하였습니다. 총 250 작품이 공모에 지원하였고, 행정심의, 서류심의 및 토론심의를 거쳐 총 4 작품을 선정하였습니다.
많은 작품 중 서울서커스페스티벌2026에 적합한 작품을 선발하였습니다. 서커스의 정체성을 갖춘 작품을 선발하고자 하였고, 서울서커스페스티벌 관객 규모를 수용할 수 있으며 가족 단위 관객층이 편안하게 관람하기 적합한가도 고려하여 선발하였습니다. 해외 작품으로서 국내에 신선한 관점을 보여주길 바랍니다.

● The final participation of selected works in the Festival shall be confirmed through individual negotiations.
● The reserve list shall not be disclosed. Artists placed on the reserve list will be notified individually without a separate public announcement.
▢ Overall Review
As the Seoul Circus Festival's international recognition grows, the number of overseas organizations applying has more than doubled compared to the previous year.
This year, the open call received 250 submissions. Following administrative screening and a multi-stage review process, four works were selected.
The review process prioritized artistic rigor and clarity of circus vision. In addition to artistic merit, we considered each work’s relationship to the scale and context of Seoul Circus Festival 2026, including its ability to engage a broad audience and to offer a welcoming experience for families. We anticipate that they will contribute meaningfully to the program and offer audiences in Korea new points of view.
