<Arts Festival Seoul> is the integrated festival brand that encompasses the representative art
festivals of the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture.
To create a "Seoul, the Special City of Arts" where everyday life becomes a festival, the Seoul
Foundation for Arts and Culture presents representative art festivals throughout the four seasons in
front of citizens, showcasing a variety of genres closer to you.
일상에서 경험하는 다양한 예술
2022년 하반기 시범운영을 거쳐 2023년 본격 추진한 <아트페스티벌_서울>은 사계절의
특성과 축제의 성격을 맞춘 7개의 예술축제를 편성했습니다.
봄은 5월 가정의 달에 맞춰 가족단위로 방문할 수 있는 축제, 여름은 MZ세대를 겨냥한
대중성 있는 축제, 가을은 국내외 다양한 우수 공연예술을 관람할 수 있는 축제, 겨울은
첨단 기술기반 융‧복합 예술을 경험할 수 있는 축제를 운영했습니다.
또한, 열린송현녹지광장, 노들섬, 잠실실내체육관, 서울광장, 문화역서울284 등 서울 시내
다양한 공간에서 펼쳐진 축제를 통해 예술가 1,644명이 직접 참여하고 시민 등 국내외
관광객 288,285명이 관람하였으며 관람객 만족도는 평균 91.1점을 달성했습니다.
Various arts experienced in daily life
After a trial operation in the second half of 2022, <Arts Festival_Seoul> officially launched in 2023
and organized seven art festivals tailored to the characteristics of each season and the nature of festivals.
In spring, there was a festival suitable for families to visit together in May, the month of Family; in summer,
there was a mass-oriented festival targeting the MZ generation; in autumn, there was a festival where various
excellent performing arts from home and abroad could be enjoyed; and in winter, there was a festival where advanced
technology-based fusion and interdisciplinary arts could be experienced. Furthermore, festivals were held in various
spaces in downtown Seoul such as Songhyun Green Plaza, Nodeul Island, Jamsil Arena, Seoul Plaza, and Culture Station
Seoul 284. A total of 1,644 artists participated directly, and 288,285 domestic and foreign tourists attended the festivals,
achieving an average satisfaction rate of 91.1.

2024년 <아트페스티벌_서울>은
거리예술‧발레‧오페라 등 순수예술부터 스트리트댄스‧인디음악‧K-POP에 이르는
대중예술까지 다양한 장르로 확대됩니다.
사계절로 편성된 9개의 예술축제는 노들섬을 중심으로 서울 전역에서 펼쳐져
시민 뿐 만 아니라 국외 관광객도 함께 즐길 수 있도록 구성해
‘글로벌 예술도시 서울’의 대표 축제 브랜드로 다가갑니다.
From arts to popular culture, four-season festivals unfold
throughout the city
In 2024, <Arts Festival_Seoul> will expand to various genres ranging from street arts, ballet, and
opera to pop culture including street dance, indie music, and K-POP. The nine arts festivals
scheduled throughout the seasons will be expanded from Nodeul Island to all over Seoul, allowing
not only citizens but also international visitors to enjoy them together. It aims to approach as the
representative festival brand of "Global Arts City Seoul".
